Today’s project is soap.  I am trying a modified recipe from the instructions given at Heavenly Homemakers.  I have grated 2 oz of Shea Moisture soap (8 oz bar for $4.99 from Target) and added to 2 quarts of hot water and then just mixed well with my hand blender.  ( I can’t blend in my stainless steel pots as Heavenly Homemakers did.)   I let it sit most of the day and it turned into the consistency of Jello.  Lots of fun to play with, but needed more water.  I added 1 cup of water and blended again and it was just right.  Our soap is already in the bottles being used 🙂
