As soon as I woke up this morning I was greeted by my son Jed, who was excited to show me a surprise.  He guided me to the kitchen to show me he had set out cereal for breakfast, pulled all the chairs back from the table, and turned on the lights leading to the schoolroom.  He had gone to bed after my husband had just read a chapter in Created for Work on initiative, thinking ahead about what he could do.

We read our nightly chapter last night, just after eating dinner prepared by my daughter, who has also been inspired to contribute to the family with a helpful heart.  She was so proud of her dinner and ate it with delight along with the rest of us.  She declared this meal was “Morgan’s Dreamy Chicken Alfredo”.  Note:  This picture of Morgan was taken after she had already eaten her broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower.
