I was curious about water quality in the Katy Texas area, so I looked it up on the Environmental Working Group website .  I was dismayed to discover the absolute worst water was found in my hometown of Pensacola, FL and only four spots away was my new home, Houston.  Fortunately we are on well water, but it makes me want to look over our well water test results again.  Perhaps water fountains are to be avoided for an extra reason.  Houston would be a good town for selling water filters.     Have no fear.  A simple Brita (carbon) filter will remove most contaminates.
