Don’t forget the easy, tasty, GAPS friendly bean soup. It has a mild flavor that everyone enjoys.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb organic navy beans
- 2 stalks celery chopped
- 2 carrots chopped
- 1 ham bone
- 1 bay leaf
- 7 cups water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- Rinse beans and soak in water overnight.
- Drain off soaking water and add beans to slow cooker.
- Add water and cook on HIGH for 6 hours.
- Add remaining ingredients and cook 4-6 more hours on HIGH.
- Serve plain or with a little cheese on top.
