I bought a food dehydrator on sale this week at Aldi’s for $19.99. My daughter already loaded it with banana slices from our soon to be over ripe bananas and in 8 short hours we should have banana chips. I am looking forward to trying herbs and vegetables from the garden as well as other fruits.

Update:  The banana chips turned out great.  The kids snack on them and we discovered they are convenient for eating with Rice Krispies GF cereal.
