We are thoroughly enjoying our now 14 backyard chickens. They are a great teacher of responsibility for our children who care for them, and a steady supply if nutritious eggs for our family. They’re also just fun to have around. The movable coop from MobileChickenCoops and fence (Premier 1 PoultryNet Plus) keep them from overgrazing the yard, and the green mesh electric fence almost disappears.

Chickens are easy.  We order or soy free non GMO feed from Azure Standard, provide oyster shell and grit, and add diatomaceous earth to their feed to keep them wormed.
