I was looking for a way to involve our small kids in giving to others in need and a friend shared that their family makes up gift bags to give to the homeless they see.  I loved this idea and today we made our bags- toothpaste, toothbrush, floss, water, crackers, first aid kit, Book of John, and gospel tract.  Before moving to Houston we lived in small town Oklahoma and rarely saw any homeless people, so this is a new ministry opportunity for our family.  If you have ideas for family service I would love to hear them.
