Well, I ran out of toilet bowl cleaner, so it is time to try a natural alternative.  I absolutely love Chlorox drop in toilet tablets, and just buy them at Walmart or Target.  They help keep stains down and don’t highlight any hard water deposits as the blue ones do.

Because of the acidity of vinegar, I cannot safely use vinegar in my “bleachy” toilet water so I am am left with baking soda and borax to try.  I’ll start with baking soda since it is least expensive.  We’ll see how it works.  I found a short list of natural toilet bowl cleaners HERE, for those who might like to try other options including vinegar solutions.

Update:  Baking soda works just fine.  I sprinkled it on and came back later to scrub.  Cleans a bit like soft scrub.
